New Product Campaign - SmartD

This campaign introduced SmartD’s Clean Power VFD™ to the industrial automation market—a revolutionary new drive designed to eliminate the typical trade-offs associated with traditional variable frequency drives. As the lead writer for the campaign, I developed key messaging, including the core taglines: “Not all drives are created equal” and “The drive without drawbacks.” These served as the foundation for a unified voice across social media, email marketing, and technical content.


In collaboration with product engineers and marketing leadership, I authored technical blog posts, email copy, and social media content that translated complex product features into clear, benefit-focused language. Screenshots below illustrate how the campaign extended across channels to educate customers, build trust, and position Galco and SmartD as innovative leaders in motor control solutions.


The campaign’s success stemmed from clear differentiation, consistent voice, and a balance of technical credibility and engaging storytelling.
